Chinese New Year celebrated by Latter-day Saints in California


Chinese and Chinese-American members of the LDS Church in the Palos Verdes area sponsored and hosted a fantastic celebration, open to the public.  The turnout was great, with lots of non-LDS people also attending.  Great food, friends, music, dancing, and spiritual messages.  Full-time missionaries were involved, as well as members of the LDS community from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, and neighboring Torrance.

As at most Mormon activities, Church members come together with that quintessentially Mormon "roll up your sleeves and get to work" attitude, quickly cleaning up and putting away everything.
